Miraplex Lawsuits
It's called Restless Leg Syndrome, or as they like to say RLS, and believe
it or not – there is no cure for it.
Well, RLS and the fact that there's no pill to cure it is, in itself, enough
to drive you up the wall. I know I've had RLS. The only thing is, I just got
onto my feet and found something to do. It never occurred to me to think I
needed yet another medication.
Now someone has decided that there are two kinds of RLS – moderate and
severe. Here's another eye-opener: They whomever “they” are decided that
between the “primary condition”, and the “secondary condition”, the “primary
condition” is the most severe. Who would have thought?
They further suggest that you consult your doctor and “ask” for Miraplex.
This is called free advertising by the company who makes it.
There are causes – yes indeed. By unrelated ailments or conditions such as
anemia, or iron deficiency and even pregnancy. My opinion? They are only
guessing. But just on the chance that they may not be, try a few vitamins
containing iron. Much cheaper than any pill they will invent, and folks – it
works.
Where was RLS years ago? Have you ever heard a past generation person
complain about it? Of Course! Granddad always said as he came in the door
from the mines, “Gosh, my legs are tired.” And then he just forgot it.
Today, if there isn't a name for something the pharmaceutical industry will
give it one, and concoct a new drug to cure it – or lessen the sensation.
Legs go funny all the time. Sports could cause RLS. Dancing could cause it.
Standing too long could cause it. Not standing could cause it. Relaxing
after a hard day could cause it. And I believe the invention of a new pill
just for RLS could cause something much more serious.
People have got to understand that over-doing almost aything can cause RLS.
But now they have Miraplex which has its side effects (as usual). For
example you may fall asleep while driving without any warning. You may feel
dizzy. Nausea may take over. Wow!
The most common side effect in clinical trials – imagine clinical trials for
RLS drugs – found the drug caused nausea, headache, and tiredness. Almost
all drugs do. This one should be called a sleeping pill.
