Johnny Depp Sues City of West HollywoodDepp maintains that the City of West Hollywood violated environmental laws by approving the construction of retail shops, restaurants and parking structures on a lot below his gated two and a half acre home. The development ready to go would not only block all view of his little children, but would rise 45 feet above the Sunset Strip and its roof would be 40 feet below his home and would block yet more views from his backyard terrace.Creeping construction of every inch of land without something on it is becoming the nemeses of all who find just the right place to build their home, only to allow others to ruin the whole thing. Depp is being challenged, of course, by the two brothers, Joseph Emrani and Youdi Enrani. Their contention is that Depp doesn't have a problem because his kids live in Paris. Unfortunately Los Angeles County Superior Court ruled against Depp last year. The case is being appealed on behalf of Depp's sister, Christi Dembrowski, who just happens to be his personal assistant and president of his film production company. On another lawsuit, and Johnny seems to cause litigation in whatever he becomes involved, he is also entwined in courts in his ownership of the Viper Room nightclub where the actor River Phoenix died from a drug overdose. Depp and his erstwhile partner, Anthony Fox have been entrapped in an on-going battle over that venue. His partner accuses him of defrauding of profits from the club,. Fox alleges he was bilked out of money which was due to his company named (get this) “Safe In Heaven Dead Productions, Inc.” whose primary asset is the Sunset Strip Club. It holds 51% of the company with fox holding 49%. On February 26th the Los Angeles Superior Court judge ordered the dissolution of the “Safe In Heaven” corporation. Depp has moved to France where he openly declares his disenchantment with Americans and his love affair with the French, a country who has also expressed quite the same attitude. What a traitor!. It's here in America where he make his millions so that he can live in Paris. Well, I guess anything that will get him out of paying fair taxes.
