Cameron Diaz Sues for Copyright InfringementA recent paper composed by attorneys hired by Ms. Diaz was exposed in total – the real thing. It seems that attorneys now consider their “expert legalese” is tantamount to being a copyright piece. I don't think so – not that one paper could be used completely for any other case, but it's just another idea lawyers like to throw out there. Hey, who would know the difference? After all they are the lawyers and most people feel overwhelmed in their very presence much less contradict their absolutes when they speak. Let me say, it's a game they learn and love to play because the public is that gullible. When a lawyer speaks – it's is a true fact. Ha! Remember these famous words: “If it doesn't fit, you must acquit.” Sure you do. And anyone with half a brain also knows that leather gloves shrink when they get wet whether it's water or blood. Diaz's court case was brought when some less than cool men tried to make money trying to market videos showing Diaz topless. An injunction regarding the actual court papers was brought on the premise that they were copyrighted. Now, the average attorney would go broke copyrighting every piece they composed for court cases. But Carman Diaz seemed to think that the publication of the papers was tantamount to infringement. In actual fact it may have been, seeing that for centuries court papers have been considered ownership of those involved in the case, so it is by default an infringement, however much copyrights must be registered prior to even exposing them in court. A slice of the attorney's argument follows: “We are litigation counsel for Cameron Diaz. We hereby demand that you, your company and anyone acting on your behalf (collectively “you”, ) immediately cease and desist from any further unauthorized exploitation of any video footage, pictures, or photographs of Cameron Diaz which were taken at a shoot in or about 1992 on the Internet or elsewhere.” Enough of that overstatement and typical bad grammar but you get their idea. One needs to explain to Ms. Diaz and all the other empty headed young things who so desperately want to push themselves into the big lime light that for every action there is a reaction and they aren't necessarily the kind of publicity they want – at least once they've made the grade and finally recognize the difference between being humiliated and being admired.
