Britney Spears Lawsuits She just can't be allowed behind a wheel or own a driver's license. Spears smashed into another car while trying to park and was again charged with hit and run. She rammed a parked car in the San Fernando Valley and simply walked away without leaving a note for the driver or calling the police. Spears has become a menace wherever she shows up. This accident happened in the San Fernando Valley in August. As luck would have it the entire incident was caught on video showing her black convertible hit a white station wagon. This seems almost impossible to a reasonable person, but Spears simply said: Oh, I'm a brainiac.” while surrounded by the collected paparazzi. She is making a small fortune for these photographers. One might almost think she was getting a kickback she does such stupid things so often. Britney has become Hollywood's most successful “ditz” an old fashioned moniker for one actress or another, but she seems to be more adept at the job than most. Her first and only immediate concern was how her car faired and gave it a close examination with the statement: “ Did I hurt my car? “ Upon checking her remark was, “it's not bad.” Heck she'll just go out a buy another one tomorrow. There certainly was no worry or concern about the other car as if it was of no importance. Papers were filed in court Friday in which Britney was cited for” willfully and unlawfully failing, neglecting, and refusing to locate the owner of the other car or to leave contact information” which is according to California code. The North Hollywood division of the Los Angeles police department received a formal complaint from the victim a few days later. One wonders who told him it was Spears, but maybe all the photographers were good for something besides catching celebrities off guard. Nothing appears to penetrate this woman sufficiently to learn from her mistakes, and it's definitely hard to believe she is just a victim of circumstances – not to the extent of her problems. She disregards the fact that every idiotic thing she does pushes her closer to losing her children. Spears now faces a six months jail sentence and/or a $1,000 fine for each of the misdemeanors which certainly isn't enough for this blockhead. She's rich and feels she's entitled to do whatever she pleases. A thousand dollar fine won't faze her, but six months in a jail cell might do the trick. Her arraignment is October 10th. Presently she has been ordered to undergo regular drug testing and to attend parenting classes because of the child custody case. As though all of her sins are catching up to her, Britney is also facing a $10,000,000 lawsuit with Lite Breeze, Inc. a sports clothing company for trademark infringement. She named a recent album “In The Zone” and Lite Breeze, Inc. claims it has put the market place into confusion since the phrase in that order has been used in association with its promotions of music and live sporting events. Now, there should be no charge for using the English language but this loose cannon seemingly pays little attention to business protocol otherwise she would understand the copyright system. She was sent a cease and desist letter and then switched the name of her tour to the tour at the Onyx Hotel. Her new single ”Gimme More” is fulfilling her wish with alacrity indeed. But, how can she possibly handle any more. She has parted with her child custody lawyer, fired her manager and cries because she is “too fat” at her recent performance at the MTV Video Music Awards. After firing her manager she hired Kelly Clarkson's manager Jeff Kwatinetz who immediately quit as well with the following statement “It saddens us to confirm media reports that we have terminated our professional relationship with Britney Spears. We believe she is enormously talented and has made a terrific record, but current circumstances have prevented us from properly doing our job.” Which boils down to the interpretation: Yeah, we need her problems to make our day and our business successful. Chasing after this problem child would put us out of business altogether. However, we hope someone – anyone – will take her by the hair and teach her how to act properly. Its in the cards. This hopeless person isn't going to last much longer. She's neither talented, nor disciplined enough to be as successful as one has to be to create a thriving career. | ||||
